Land Observation Satellite Watched Military Parade from Different ViewPublishDate：2022-03-29
On Sep. 3, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Chinese people's Anti-Japanese War & World Anti-Fascist War, a large-scale military parade was held at Tiananmen Square. For this great event, Resource Satellite Center comprehensive deployed on-orbit satellites to continue observing the nearby area of Tiananmen Square, Beijing for Sep.1 to 3, in total, it arranged 5 times of high resolution satellite imaging. On the current day of military parade, the three satellites of GF-2 satellite, ZY-3 satellite, and SJ-9 realized three-satellite joint to conduct dense observation, and caught the splendid moments of parade site.
To ensure that the satellites can correctly shoot Tiananmen and surrounding area, increase data processing efficiency, and timely prepare qualified optical products, from the plan determination and review of satellite observation, optimization, to guarantee of system operation, Resource Satellite Center operation service personnel made careful deployment ahead of time and prepared emergency plan, which laid a solid foundation for successfully completing the task.
