Establish a Chinese remote sensing satellite receiving station overseas to directly receive, processPublishDate:2022-08-03

Actively take advantage of the favorable conditions of intergovernmental international cooperation. Establish Chinese remote sensing satellite data receiving stations overseas. Directly receiving, processing and distributing China's remote sensing satellite data locally has greatly improved the efficiency of data distribution services.

South Africa Ground Station. Mainly at the satellite receiving station of the South African National Space Agency in Pretoria, the construction of the China-Brazil Earth Resources series satellite data reception and processing system. The reception, processing and distribution of CBERS-02B and CBERS-04 satellite data were realized in 2009 and 2015 respectively. As of the end of June 2021, it has provided more than 1,700 mission plans for the South African Space Agency, and the local receiving station archives Chinese satellite data accounting for 70% of the total archived amount. The landing of CBERS satellite data in South Africa has deepened China-Africa scientific and technological cooperation and established my country's image as a responsible developing country in the world. It has driven the export of my country's remote sensing satellite data, and has transformed China from a remote sensing data input country to a data exporter. It has achieved rich application results in South Africa's flood monitoring and land use, and has been highly praised by South Africa and the world.

In 2022, the CRESDA will continue to implement the landing and distribution of China-Brazil Earth Resources Satellite 04A satellite data in southern Africa, and continue to provide southern African countries with China's remote sensing satellite data and application services.

The China-ASEAN Satellite Data Sharing and Service Platform is under the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China to enable ASEAN countries to share China's aerospace scientific and technological achievements, jointly promote scientific and technological progress and economic prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region, and promote multilateral cooperation of my country's aerospace technology to the world. project. Mainly rely on my country's CBERS-04 satellite data resources to establish a CBERS-04 satellite data (ASEAN) sharing service platform. After 6 years of project cooperation and implementation, Singapore ground station, Beijing data center and data sharing service system have been built. Joint applications have been carried out with National University of Singapore, Thailand Geospatial Technology Development Agency, Thailand Agricultural University, Myanmar Mandalay University of Technology, Lao Ministry of Science and Technology, and Cambodian Ministry of Agriculture. The project has realized the implementation and promotion of CBERS-04 satellite data in ASEAN countries, and promoted the application of remote sensing data in ASEAN countries in disaster prevention, agricultural yield estimation, and urban planning.
